From Shreveport: Take North Market (Hwy. 1) north out of Shreveport. As you approach the split where Highway 1 and Highway 71 divides, remember to stay on Highway 1, heading towards Vivian and Oil City. Continue up Highway 1 about 6 miles past the split. You will notice Elsie’s Truck Stop on the left side of the highway and the road will change from four lanes to two lanes. Continue north just one more mile and we are on the left side. You should see our large sign on the left. We are located next door to Doug’s Body Shop.

From Texas: Take Interstate 20 east to Shreveport. Once you enter Shreveport you will want to get on the Interstate 220 Bypass. Continue eastbound. You will pass over Cross Lake. After you cross the lake, you will take the third exit (Texarkana Exit). This will put you northbound on Highway 1. As you approach the split where Highway 1 and Highway 71 divides, remember to stay on Highway 1, heading towards Vivian and Oil City. Continue up Highway 1 about 6 miles past the split. From Minden, Ruston, Monroe, & Jackson: Take Interstate 20 west. As you enter Bossier City, you will want to get on Interstate 220 Bypass. Continue on I-220 until you cross over the Red River. As soon as you cross the Red River, take the next exit. This will put you on North Market (Highway 1 northbound). Continue Northbound. As you approach the split where Highway 1 and Highway 71 divides, remember to stay on Highway 1, heading towards Vivian and Oil City. Continue up Highway 1 about 6 miles past the split. From Natchitoches, Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and New Orleans: Take Interstate 49 to Shreveport. Once you get into Shreveport, you will want to get on Highway 3132 westbound. This will loop you around west Shreveport and will turn into Interstate 220. Continue eastbound. You will pass over Cross Lake.
